Rating the Risk

Different sexual behaviours involve different risks for STIs. As a general rule for safer sex, avoid exchanging the following body fluids with a partner: semen/cum, blood, vaginal fluids. Also don't touch sores.

NO RISK SEX PLAY (avoiding fluid exchange and touching sores)

Masturbation
Mutual masturbation (*)
Massage, touch (*)
Erotic bathing
Kissing
Phone sex with a partner
Erotica
Fantasy

(*) Means that there is some risk of getting parasites like pubic lice or scabies from an infected partner(s).

Lower Risk Sex

Oral sex
Vaginal intercourse with a latex condom
Anal intercourse with a condom

High Risk Sex

Vaginal intercourse without a latex condom can be high risk for becoming infected with: HIV, genital warts, genital herpes, hepatitis B, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, pubic lice and scabies.
Anal intercourse without a latex condom can be high risk for becoming infected with HIV, genital warts, genital herpes, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis, pubic lice and scabies. There is also SOME risk of Chlamydia.
