You are not alone! Being lesbian, gay or bisexual is totally normal. Lots of people identify as lesbian, gay and bisexual. Sometimes people are open about their sexuality and sometimes they are in the closet (i.e. they are not able to be open about their sexuality).

 

People decide to come out when the time is right for them; when they feel comfortable and safe. Sexual orientation is about emotional and physical attraction. You may have had sex with an opposite sex partner - that doesn't mean that you're heterosexual/straight or bisexual. You may have had sex with a same sex partner - that doesn't mean that you're lesbian or gay. You don't even have to have sex with someone else to know your sexual orientation. It's natural to ask ourselves questions about our sexuality and it's perfectly okay to take our time figuring things out.
