Sex without Consent
Sometimes someone may use their power to take away our choice and they may force us into sexual activity. No one has the right to do this. Sex without consent (you didn't agree to it) is a crime. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! If someone has forced you to have sex with them, get medical attention as soon as possible. You should get tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and you may also want to get the morning after pill (ECP or Plan B®) if you are concerned that you are at risk for pregnancy. Talk to someone that you trust. You may choose to talk to a friend, a teacher, guidance counsellor, doctor or parent. You can also call a sexual assault center. There is support available for you.
